Seed Bead Finish Style #5 - Color Lined StyleĬolor lined seed beads are a lot like the silver lined beads. Orange iris beads would have some red and some yellow hues. For example, blue iris beads would shine with some green and purple tones. While iridescent beads will shimmer in all hues of the rainbow, iris finish beads usually include colors that are next to the main bead color on a color wheel. Iris finish beads are close to being iridescent. This creates a very shiny and sparkling style of bead. In the center of the bead, directly surrounding the hole, is a thin layer of silver colored foil. Silver lined seed beads are fashioned from transparent glass in either clear or any color. Seed Bead Finish Style #3 - Silver Lined Style They are characterized by an extra shiny coating with the appearance of metal rather than the glass they are made of. Metallic finish seed beads in colors of red, blue, green and other colors are popular. It can come in many different colors, bronze, gold, silver and copper tones. Seed Bead Finish Style #2 - Metallic FinishĪ metallic seed bead finish is one that has the appearance of metal. Those beads appear to be milky and are not truly see through. There are transparent matte finish seed beads. Matte finish seed beads are usually opaque and of one solid color. A matte finish means that the outside of the bead is not a smooth and shiny style. Seed beads that have a matte finish reflect no light. They come in a variety of sizes, colors, and finish styles. They are most popular in bead weaving, bead loom, and bead sculpting.
